Supporting education, innovation, and philanthropy
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Foundation was founded in 2024 by Sheriff Jim Cooper and community members, to help foster a relationship between law enforcement and the youth in Sacramento County.
Focus on Education
Many educational materials and school supplies are expensive and hard to come by. We work with school leaders and local retailers to ensure students have access to everything they need to succeed in school.
Continuing Education for Law Enforcement
We sponsor continued training for law enforcement personnel to not only enhance public safety, but to increase community engagement.
Support for Communities
Partnerships happen within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure everyone in our community have the necessary support to feel safe in their neighborhoods through positive relationships with the Sheriff’s Office.
